Do this and you can have a cheapo head that will flow. Take a die grinder and some burrs and blend the gigantic bowls into the bottom of the existing hard seats, lay the short turn radius back without changing the height of the floor, do a 5 angle valve job, back cut the valve and open the erratic port window up to max wedge size. These heads are also offered in ported form where the Indy Heads version (339) and the Brodix B1-BA version (340) are equal, so economics can again be used to select between these. That means that economics should decide your selection. So what can you do with the present seats? The biggest valve the OOTB seat will support is the 2.14". The flows I have posted so far, are with big valves. I say this because we have a test Stealth head here in the shop that is producing these flows in different intake port configurations. If they really do have more potential than the Stealths, they should be a very interesting cylinder head. We'll slip some valves in and do some OOTB flows, then work them over and see where they go. Its time to see what these heads will flow. Finally there is a fully CNC ported head with a 325cc port volume. Next in line is a fully CNCed head, including the combustion chamber, with a 295cc port volume. Okay, we pulled the trigger on a pair of Super Stealths today, they'll be here next week. The base 440 EZ-1 is the same as 440 EZ head only with a CNC M/W port opening.
